If there is anything that we can do to facilitate a more enjoyable cottaging/boating experience, please don't hesitate to ask. If you will be arriving outside of regular business hours and need your boat filled with gas or if you require water or propane, please don't hesitate to call. If you would like assistance loading and unloading your boat, our staff would be happy to assist you at the gas dock. We are here to help!

Online Payments
If you currently use the convenience of online banking, you'll be happy to know that you can now pay for your Desmasdon's statements online too!  To take advantage of this service, just search for "Desmasdons" in the payments section of your banking web site and enter your the alpha code at the top right of your Desmasdon's statement (without spaces or dashes) as your account number. Then you can just pay for your statement straight out of your bank account! Give it a try!

Boat Detailing
Taking care of your boat through regular cleaning and waxing can help maintain its value as well as make her perform better in the water. We use only biodegradable, phosphate-free products in detailing to try and protect the pristine waters of the Bay. It is best to initially do this in the Spring at launch time and then, if needed, it can be done throughout the summer.

Business Service Centre
Newly renovated business service centre with 2 comfortable, private workspaces, satellite internet connection either through desktop or connecting your own laptop (dial up is still available if your firewall prevents a satellite connection). Faxes can be sent and received confidentially. Courriers can be sent or received. Purolater is the most reliable service as it comes every day. Fed Ex, Can Par, UPS and all others tend to come twice per week. Our street address for sending courriers is: 18 Desmasdon's Road, Pointe au Baril, ON, P0G 1K0.

Garbage
We offer garbage services to our customers with two convenient locations for drop off. A trailer is located at the main dockage area or you can bring your garbage to the store docks and we will help you with it. Please DO NOT bring in large items (like mattresses, fridges, BBQs, furniture and construction garbage). The Township offers a large item disposal day for these items. If this is abused, there will have to be charges in the future for garbage disposal. As you know, garbage attracts bears. To minimize this problem, we ask that you please put all you garbage in the appropriate containers.

You are probably aware that we will take your recycling for cardboard, plastic and aluminum. What you may not be aware of is that we will take all your household batteries. One hearing aid battery can turn a ton of garbage into Toxic Waste! When disposed of appropriately, this doesn't happen. Please bring us your dead batteries!

Customers who dock their boats with us and park their cars appreciate that we live on site and are therefore almost always available to help with any emergency. Our house is beside the parking lot and in front of the boat slips which makes it easy for us to keep an eye on all comings and goings at the marina. All slips feature flush docking cleats and full vinyl rub rails to protect your feet and your boat! We continue to refine our haul carts to make your loading and unloading easy and provide handy garbage and recycling containers to help you do your bit for the environment that is the reason we all love it here so much. In addition, we provide recycling for household batteries and proper disposal for used motor oil for the do-it-yourselfers!
