Profile

Since its' inception in 1946 Desmadons Boatworks has prided itself on being a family owned, family run business that offers the best products and customer service around with no exception. That philosophy is at the heart of the business today. Our motto is "Desmasdons... Where relationships matter"... and that is the truth. We take great pride in having a personal relationship with each and every customer be them one of our dockage and storage customers, a new boat customer or a person who comes in once a year for their annual oil change; you are also extremely important to us and we value your business and relationship.

While Desmasdon's has grown immensely since purchase, Andy, Tonia, Matt and Nicole still take the time to chat with each and every customer and instill those values and the belief that every customer is equally important into all their staff. We take great pride in having a personal relationship with each and every customer whether they are a dockage and storage customers, a new boat customer or a person who comes in once a year for their annual oil change; you are also extremely important to us and we value your business and relationship.

Desmasdon's sells four great boat lines: Grady-White, Key West, and Rossiter Boats. After years of research and planning these are the lines we chose to represent and have never looked back.

We were the first dealer for Rossiter Power Boats in 2000 and have grown with them each year since. Their expanding line up of boats started with the 14' Shoreline, and has now brown to include the popular R17CD, R17CC, R20 and R23.

We are the dealer for Eastern Canada for Grady-White Boats and their award winning, second to none line-up of boats. Grady-White is the winning of numerous awards each year from the JD Power awards to the National Marina Manufacturers Association awards they receive each and every year for quality and customer satisfaction.

Our products are powered by Yamaha or Honda Outboards. We believe these products live up to our desire to continue to lead the industry with the best products, service and reliability.

We continue to offer dry-docking boats as an option to wet boat slips. This is growing in popularity. Over the past few years we've gone from offering no dry docking to now around fifty dry docking customers. Please inquire about this opportunity.

It all begins with research and a commitment to be the best! We welcome the opportunity to show you how Desmasdon;s Boat Works has grown to be the largest marine facility in the area. Satisfied customers are our best reference!

Customers who dock their boats with us and park their cars appreciate that we live on site and are therefore almost always available to help with any emergency. Our house has a great view of the property which make it easy for us to keep an eye on all comings and goings at the marina. All slips feature flush docking cleats and full vinyl rub rails to protect your feet and your boat! We continue to refine our haul carts to make your loading and unloading easy.

We are always happy to have our trained and cheerful seasonal staff help you with your loading and unloading needs. At Desmasdon's, we walk the talk of customer service every day! If you are not satisfied, nor are we and we welcome all of your feedback.

Each year we undertake a major product to make the marina better. Generally it is a physical undertaking for instance, 2006 saw needs boat storage sheds, 2007 saw us buy the land and make the new road up the hill for boat storage and car parking, 2008 saw the new service facility, 2009 saw the parking lot get re-done with a new surface and 2010 will see us add 3 new docks including a new break wall and our internet café, Beans & Scoop. 2013 saw the addition of the new wrap around dock and even more docks. You will have noticed many changes in 2014 with various buildings being replaced, new storage buildings being added and staff houses being moved. More changes take place each adn every year.
